How
to Get FileZilla
FileZilla is available for both PCs and the Mac.
Step 1: Get the program
Go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla
Click on the link in the green bar that says "Download
FileZilla".
On the next page, click on the green Download link for FileZilla
Client.
On the next page,
- for Windows, click on the link for the win32-setup.exe file
- for the Mac, click on whichever apple link is more appropriate
for your computer
Step 2: Install the Program
 Install the FileZilla program on your computer in the usual
way. (For Windows, double click on the setup.exe file.) You should
wind up with a FileZilla icon on your desktop (Windows) or in your
Applications folder (Mac).
To start FileZilla, double-click on the icon on your computer.
Then follow the instructions for uploading
files with FileZilla.
